Getting Started

Connecting to your server

How to point players at your new Kyrbit server.

Once your server shows Running in the dashboard, you can connect with the game client.

Get your address

On the server detail page, look for the Connection box. It shows something like:

play.example.kyrbit.host:25565

If you have a custom domain pointed at your server's IP, that works too.

Minecraft Java Edition

  1. Open Minecraft and pick Multiplayer.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Paste the address into Server Address.
  4. Click Done, then double-click your server to join.

Rust

Use the server browser or console connect command with the address shown in Kyrbit. Rust uses the public game port shown in the panel; query and RCON ports are handled separately by setup.

Satisfactory

Add the server from the Satisfactory Server Manager using the address shown in Kyrbit. Satisfactory uses the public game port shown in the panel.

Factorio

Use Multiplayer -> Connect to address and paste the address shown in Kyrbit. Server visibility, tags, and password options live in data/server-settings.json.

Palworld

Palworld support is experimental. Use direct connect with the public address shown in Kyrbit, and use at least a 2-credit server so the dedicated server has enough memory to start cleanly.

Discord bots

Discord bots connect outbound to Discord and do not need a public game port. Add your code and .env file from the Files tab, then restart the process from the panel.

Sharing with players

Send players the connection details from the Network tab. Minecraft Bedrock players should enter the IP in Server Address and the Bedrock UDP port in Port. Bedrock uses UDP and may use a different public port than the Java server. If your server is whitelisted (recommended for small communities), make sure their username is on the list — see Whitelisting players.

If you use Geyser/Floodgate for Bedrock crossplay, also read Bedrock crossplay with Geyser.

Can't connect?
