Privacy policy

Last updated: May 11, 2026. This beta privacy policy names the current processor categories and will be reviewed before paid launch.

1. Operator

Kyrbit Host is operated by Kyrbit LLC, a Texas limited liability company. References to Kyrbit, Kyrbit Host, we, or us on this page mean Kyrbit LLC when we are describing the operator of the service.

2. Information we collect

We collect account details such as name, email, username, sign-in code events, login events, IP-derived security metadata, support tickets, Discord link IDs, server settings, modpack or plugin search selections, private install/profile codes you submit, console and activity logs, file metadata, backup metadata, analytics events, browser or device metadata, and billing identifiers when billing is enabled.

3. Server and workload data

Game worlds, configs, uploaded files, mods, plugins, bot code, backup files, console output, player/activity data, third-party catalog project IDs, file IDs, loader versions, install outcomes, and provider-approved download references may be processed so the panel, agent, support, backups, installs, and abuse monitoring can work.

4. Payments

When paid billing is enabled, Stripe handles card data and hosted checkout. Kyrbit stores Stripe customer, checkout session, payment, invoice or receipt, refund, and webhook identifiers needed to grant credits, reconcile support requests, and prevent duplicate webhook processing. Kyrbit does not store full card numbers.

5. Processors and integrations

We may use Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Discord for community support and account linking, GitLab for source control and deployment, infrastructure, hosting, network, DDoS/security, analytics, or telemetry providers, and game or mod ecosystem providers such as CurseForge/Overwolf, Steam, and game publishers. Specific providers may change as the service matures.

6. How we use data

We use data to provide hosting, authenticate users, provision servers, install requested software, process support requests, detect abuse, secure accounts, send service notices, operate backups, test billing in sandbox mode, measure reliability, understand product usage, and improve the service.

7. Sharing

We share data only with service providers, when needed to operate the service, to comply with law, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or with your direction such as linking Discord, sharing server access, searching a third-party catalog, submitting a private install code, authorizing a game install, or opening a support workflow.

8. Retention and deletion

Account, billing, support, audit, backup, and security records are retained only as long as needed for operations, legal obligations, abuse prevention, security, chargeback and dispute handling, and backup recovery. Beta deletion, export, correction, or access requests are handled through support.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect accounts, workloads, billing records, and operational systems. We do not publicly disclose every security control or detection method, and no hosted service can guarantee perfect security.

10. Children

Kyrbit is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used by children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13 or collected personal information from a child under 13 without the required parental process, we will restrict or delete the account as appropriate. Users who cannot legally consent to these terms should use the service only with a parent or guardian involved.

11. Your choices

You can update account details in the dashboard, request access, correction, deletion, or export through support, unlink Discord where supported, and opt out of non-essential communications where available. Service, security, billing, and legal notices may still be sent when needed to operate the account.

12. Email notices

Kyrbit uses email for account, security, support, billing, and operational messages. Marketing email should include a clear sender, non-deceptive subject line, postal contact information where required, and an opt-out path before it is used for paid growth.

13. Contact

Privacy questions and data requests can be sent through support or to privacy@kyrbit.host.
